Contrary to popular belief, Eminem didn’t form the group D12. He just happens to be its most famous alumnus. In fact, D12 has been around in one form or another since the early 1990s, with a membership that changed here and there over the years.

D12 is currently comprised of six members. Their name is a play on The Dirty Dozen, while their gimmick, such as it is, is that each member has an “alter ego” or second personality

Following 2001’s "Devil’s Night", their sophomore album "D12 World" features "My Band," which reached number one in Australia and the U.S., and top 5 in the U.K. and Germany. The album features production by Dr. Dre, Kanye West and Eminem and was the last D12 album to feature Proof before his death in 2006.

Continuing with its Respect The Classic campaign, UMe will be reissuing this classic back on vinyl with a special edition animated cover with monster finger with nails that grow and a rotating planet.
