Following 2020's Brain Pain, an ideas heavy album which drew on a considered approach entirely opposed to their early days, Four Year Strong hit a creative brick wall. They meditated on their past and listened to music, eventually emerging from producer Will Putney's bedroom with the basis of the stylistically bold analysis paralysis. Here, their brash fusion of pop-punk and hardcore meets industrial synth stabs and a foray into raw reggae.
