Korn’s 2007 Untitled record was made during one of the strangest moments in the band’s history. With guitarist Brian “Head” Welch and drummer David Silveria both out of the band, Korn whittled down to a three-piece — Jonathan Davis, Munky and Fieldy — for these sessions, and the result is one of the least Korn sounding records in their catalog. For that reason, it’s a fascinating experiment that captures a visionary band in flux, with hired-hand drummers like Frank Zappa’s Terry Bozzio.
