An appropriate title? Not quite, but not far off. This is essentially a b-sides and covers compilation, the sort of things record companies like to promote as "rarities". NOFX front man Fat Mike is quite straight about this collection though. It IS songs which weren't released on other albums because they were not finished, not good enough, intended for compilations, or were just the band mucking about for fun.

Putting all these songs together on one album made the band a target for "true" punks. "This is just a revenue gathering exercise, you've sold out", or "fans should collect them on scratchy seven-inch vinyl like we have. The song writing and recording quality of the second disc is very rough at times. However, the extensive and often funny liner notes explain why. So, is it worth it? If you're a NOFX fan, then yes. Little gems like "Timmy The Turtle" are hard to find elsewhere. The liner notes are a bit of an informal band history too.
