Though their abandonment of guitars might already be a rarity, the John Dwyer-led genre mavericks pack in even more esoteric firsts on ORCS 80. Liberated from the guitar and keys of their recent albums, the four members of OSEES built the tracks solely from synths and drum loops. This wall of percussion, alongside nebulous swathes of tenor and baritone sax, led to a space rock sound equal parts catchy and darkly intense.
