Formed in 2000, Say Anything came together while lead singer and songwriter Max Bemis and the other members were still attending high school in Los Angeles, California.

Say Anything made their studio debut with two self-released and self-produced EPs -- Junior Varsity! and Menorah/Majora, the latter being released online -- as well as a full-length album, 2003's Baseball. The album showcases their signature blend of emo, pop-punk, and indie rock elements.

With poignant and introspective lyrics, catchy melodies, and energetic instrumentation, "Baseball" set the foundation for Say Anything's subsequent success and established them as a prominent force in the alternative music scene.

The album's emotionally charged songs explore themes of love, heartbreak, and self-discovery, resonating with fans and leaving a lasting impact on the genre.
