Australia's The Scientists released You Get What You Deserve in 1985, fomenting their previous output of brittle punk into a denser, madder, and rawer form of swamp rock and early grunge. This was the fifth album released by the band's '80s lineup, on which they also cover John Fogerty's 'It Came Out Of The Sky', making it sound like a reverberating, grimy, distortion-led Butthole Surfers creation.
