KRISTIINA was founded in the spring of 2022 by Kristiina Tuhkanen, known from Tamara Luonno , whose music brings catchy power pop to the middle of a gray Finnish film. The songs of the album Palava rakkauden aika, are Tuhkanen's handwriting and they are stories about friendship, jealousy and dreams. The final arrangement, playing and production of the songs rested on the shoulders of Joni Ekman, known as a wide-ranging music maker .
The live line-up, which has been actively gigging since its foundation, consists of Kristiina Tuhkanen (vocals, acoustic guitar), Joni Ekman (guitar), Joel Hyttinen (guitar), Hilla Kohtamäki (bass) and Essi Nieminen (drums).
